How it works
Algolia will give you 10,000 individual searches per month with no credit card required. But should you begin to reach the threshold you can purchase more requests.
(As of December 2024 an additional 1000 requests per month is $0.50 on a pay as you go basis)
A single website is unlikely to go over the threshold. You will be kept up to date regularly with usage stats.
You may want to have one account for a group of practices to monitor what searches are being made across a number of surgeries. This will mean you will most likely run over the threshold.
Using SurgeryDocs? This will increase usage and may mean you run over the threshold.
By creating your own API's means that you can take advantage of these Free searches. If we were to add you to our account the free searches will not cover all our client usage and you would be charged.
