[Common Issues](https://knowledge.treeviewdesigns.co.uk/knowledge/support?hsLang=en#common-issues) # Closing your Google Cloud API Billing account   As the accounts would have been set up by someone in your organisation and contained Credit/Bank Details details of the email used to set up the Google Account would not have been provided to us and so we would have not record of it. - **Option 1**: if you **do not** use the Google Account for any other purpose (for example emails, documents and document storage, YouTube, purchases, Google ads, signing into other services using your Google Account) you can "Delete your Google Account" - **Option 2**: if you **do** use the Google Account for other purposes then you will need to "Close Your Billing Account". ### Option 1: Delete your Google Account **Do use the Google Account for any other purposes?** **For example:** - Emails (Gmail) - Documents and document storage (Google Drive) - YouTube - Purchases (Google Wallet) - Google ads - Google Analytics - Other Google APIs and Services - Signing into other services using your Google Account (Single Sign On) - Any other purposes ** If you do, please follow the instructions of Option 2.** **Warning** If you are not presented with the option to sign in, it means that you are likely to be signed in within the browser you are using. Please check that you are signed into the correct Google Account before continuing and you may need to sign out and sign in again with the correct Google Account.  **[Proceed with the steps to Delete your Google Account and all data connnect with it](https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/32046?hl=en)** --- ### Option 2: Close Your Billing Account 1\. Go to [Account management in the Cloud Billing Console](https://console.cloud.google.com/billing/manage?_ga=2.162027644.1759256522.1700834583-934501357.1695979693) 2\. Sign in using the account that was initially created for this purpose. **Note** If you are not presented with the option to sign in, it means that you are likely to be signed in within the browser you are using. Please check that you are signed into the correct Google Account before continuing and you may need to sign out and sign in again with the correct Google Account.  3\. If you have more than one Billing Account, you will be asked to select the account you want to close. (Also see step 8) 4\. At the top of the page, click CLOSE BILLING ACCOUNT 5\. Type "Close" into the field at the bottom of the pop-up. 7\.
