Creating & Managing Segments

Add, Remove and Update Segments within a page

The content of each segment is managed the same way as you would do for pages using the WYSIWYG Editor. 

These instructions with provide you with guidance on how to utilise segments only.


Creating Managing Segments

Segment tool

Segment Toolbar. This appears when you over a segment in the left column

  • Arrow Cursor: Click hold, drag and drop to re-order your segments.
  • Green tick: means that the segment is visible, toggle this to grey and the segment is hidden from the patient seeing it on the page
  • Red cross: Deletes the segment completely
Segment name This is an internal description to help you manage segments
Contained

There are two options here

  • Contained - This ensures that the content is contained within the right and left padding defined for the site based on the screen size of the device used. Default option
  • Wrapper Only - This is allows the content to ignore the padding and start a the very edge of the site. It is advised that you use this sparingly and only when necessary.
Select template

Select a template for the design of your segment based.

  • Note: The editor will not display background colours or padding, you will need to preview the page to see this
CSS Classes Manually add or amend CSS of the segment. This will be populated from the choice of template you have chosen. For advanced users only.
Other attributes Manually add or amend other attributes. For advanced users only.
