Invalid email domains
Why can you only add NHS provided emails
There are four main reasons for restricting the domains used for emails within the Control Panel
- Protection of the integrity of the website
- Prevention of Identity Theft
- Protection of Special Category Data (Patient Health Data)
- Protection of our Intellectual Property Rights
Should you be attempting to add an NHS provided email and the restriction is not allowing you to do so, please contact the Helpdesk. We will review the request and if appropriate add an exception to the policy.
We can only add exceptions based on the domain and not on individual email addresses.
Examples of restricted email domains
This is not an exhaustive list and none of these will be added as exceptions.
