The use of social media has the added benefit of helping to boost search engine rankings.
Every time you share on a social platform a link to your website, or a news article you’ve recently added, the search engines will give you extra ranking ‘points’, because they see your site as popular. If your followers go on to share, like or comment on what you have posted, this effect is multiplied further.
