Do you think your account has been hacked?
I received an email saying someone logged into my account but it wasn't me
If you think that your account has been hacked and someone else has used it to gain access to the Control Panel of the website.
This needs to be reported to your Manager and to your internal Data Controller. They can then report and investigate the issue as soon as possible.
Watch out for false warnings
There may be issues with the deliverability of emails as they traverse the filters and protocols of nhs.net emails.
The activity email contains the date and time that it was sent, so you can check this against your actual activity and a Website Admin can check the audit logs to help. Using the Audit Trail
Steps you can take immediately
- Change your password as soon as possible - Update your user profile, including Password.
- If you cannot access the account to change the password - request that a Website Admin deactivate your account. - Creating or Managing User
