      When you are dealing with column templates it is worth understanding how column widths are managed.

      The width of the page is broken down into 12 equal divisions from left to right

                             

      Each column then takes up a number of divisions So two equally spaced columns would take up 6 on the left and 6 on the right - left 6, right 6

         

      Height is determined by the content
