What is the Friends & Family Test

The Friends & Family Test (FFT) is fully integrated which means your patients can now give their feedback on the services you provide and the results will be updated on your site automatically.

You can also add responses that you have received to the same question via other sources and export results for other purposes.

It consists of one main question,

"Overall, how was your experience of our service?"

Your patients have the choice of answering from the following 6 options;

5 Star - 'Very good'

4 Star - 'Good'

3 Star - 'Neither good nor poor'

2 Star - 'Poor'

1 Star - 'Very poor'

Don’t know

In addition, your patients can also submit a reason as to why they choose their option.

Please can you tell us why you gave your answer? Please tell us about anything that we could have done better?

The patient is also asked whether they would like their comment published on the website or not.

If the patients agrees it will not automatically publish the comments, you have the choice to display this from with the submission.

Rage Submission protection

To stop disgruntled patients from manipulating the system by submitting again and again. Once they have made a submission they will not be able to complete one again on the same device/browser for 7 days, unless they clear the site cookies.

Whilst this is not ideal when there are multiple users using the same device, the majority of patients will use their own mobile devices.
