How does the PatientInbox work

PatientInbox has been created to assist with the deluge of submissions via your website.

An Introduction

The PatientInbox has been created to assist with the deluge of submissions via your website. It is the second part of three main elements of the work flow we have provided as part of Digital Triage.

SmartForm > PatientInbox > PatientPortal

PatientInbox

SmartForm submissions are actioned or reviewed via the PatientInbox. Each user that needs access will be issued with their own login.

All submissions are exportable as a PDF or CSV should the need arise.

Features

We have included a number of features to the PatientInbox to create a secure system. This is especially helpful if you have a number of staff members who monitor submissions.

  • Centrally monitor all requests
  • Allocate a submission to another user
  • Securely communicate with the patient through the PatientPortal
  • Leave internal notes
  • Apply a status to a submission
  • Filter and sort submissions
  • Tag Submissions for easy referencing or filtering
  • Set an action by date
  • Mark a submission as 'Urgent'
  • Automatically purge 'Closed' submissions for Data Protection

What are the benefits

  1. High level of security / NHS Digital Standard.
